Greetings, Clowns! That’s a couple of us up there in the logo, dressed for work. We freakin’ LOVE games. I mean, seriously. We think about them in the shower, during funerals, while scuba diving, and while other people are talking to us. We were raised on sci-fi, pizza, John Hughes films, sour candy, and music, and we like to think there are elements of at least 1 of those in every Frown Clowns game. We hope our creations distract you from your worldly responsibilities, bring you together with other humans who aren’t too tedious, and maybe annoy your cat (if not, we’ll gladly accept money in return for a box mailed to you with random junk inside). Most of all, we aspire to inspire you to stay young and keep having fun.

Frown Clowns came into being in 2021 when we self-published our first game, Joystick Heroes, on Kickstarter. After suffering through a stressful yet successful campaign, we decided to forgo crowdfunding for the foreseeable future and release games straight to you. Although this isn’t the norm for most indie publishers, we really want to get stuff to you NOW, without making you wait a year to get your game. We hope you’ll appreciate this as much as we appreciate you. No, really. You totally rock!
