It’s time to ROCK, ROLL, and RULE the Sunset Strip… because when the amps crank up, things are bound to get sticky!
Hair Band is a dice placement, engine-building, and resource management game where you form an upstart ’80s glam metal band in Hollywood and compete to become the most awesome new act on the Sunset Strip. Write songs, play shows, post flyers, and party your way to rock stardom.
Create your fearsome foursome from 60 colorful Rockers and send them out to the Sunset Strip to take actions. But watch out! Metal musicians can be a reckless and unruly bunch. You’ll need to choose wisely to steer clear of band drama that can derail your ambitions. The first band to complete 3 of the record labels’s contract requirements gets to sign on the dotted line to win the game!

“I found myself wanting to dig out my mix tapes and push my luck just to see what the drama had in store. You don’t just win at this game with skill, you gotta rock it with style.”
Manny Vega, Game Designer (Flamecraft, Tea Witches)
“This game hits the nostalgia and theme hard! My first introduction to music was bands like Motley Crue, Guns & Roses, Poison, and Ratt. Hair Band nails it! I really liked the gameplay and how smooth and easy the dice placement was to take actions. The drama cards shake up the game, and I loved all the references; you can tell some real love for 80’s hair metal went into this one!”
Danny Devine, Game Designer (Sprawlopolis)
“Hair Band takes me back to the Sunset Strip in all its 80’s big hair glory. You can practically smell the hairspray.”
Jackie Fox, Game Designer (Rock Hard 1977)
“Hair Band is the kind of game where the strategy isn’t ruined by the luck of the dice, but instead enhanced by it. Gameplay is tight like pleather pants and the theme shines like a spotlight on a gloriously beer soaked stage.”
Andrew Stiles, Game Designer (Wine Cellar, Digging For Dinos)
